First off, Any moms on here tried Medifast Diet? Hoping for any response. Second question.. Hey all...... I've been on vacation for a full week and have not gone off program at all. I just needed to share and encourage those facing a vacation that it CAN be done. I took all my medifast foods with me - prepacked, 5 meals per day in ziplock bags. |

Good question... I dunno what is the right answer to your question. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I bump into an anything. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably know..

It can be done! Let us all know how successful you've been after your trip. It is so important that we all share things that make our journey smoother and more enjoyable..
Happy losing!.. |

Thanks!!! I'm headed for vacation this week and Im so nervous, but I know it will be simple to eat the meals and than a sensible dinner...

Congrats! I've been a little worried because I'm going on a girls' weekend in two weeks. It's the first time since starting MF. I am going to plan ahead and I'm determined that I will stay OP!!..

Wow! I am impressed that you stayed right on the plan!! Don't know if I could do that. Vacations usually set me back a little but I am able to get right on track after I get home. You are an inspiration! What an exciting goal you have!..

It can be done..... you just have to decide to do it, and then make sure you're prepared. We even ate out one night at one of those huge buffet restaraunts. I stayed with salad and a lean cut of steak. Another day we ate lunch at Olive Garden. I ordered only the endless salad and pushed the bread sticks to the other end of the table.
So vacationers....... you can do this! PLAN PLAN PLAN to stay on OP and be prepared!.. |

My dad is coming to visit us here is southern Louisiana. Of course he is coming to see me and my sband....but...I also know he is coming here to EAT!! They sure know how to cook down here...as I have learned since moving here 17 years ago from California. He loves the food here...as do I, which is why I need to be on MF...... I am sure we will most likely be eating out 2 times per day so I am planning on doing the 4/2 route. I will feel successful if I do not gain. If I lost....that would be lagnaippe...but I am just grateful to see my daddy...he is 83 and still going strong!!..

Have a wonderful visit! and Yes, southern cooking is a killer for the calorie challenged! I live in the beautiful pacific northwest! I don't think we're known for anything but rain. But even in the rain - we know how to make a mean bbq!..
