Got a question... Do you know how effective are your Nutrisystem diet pills? Thanks for any answer or 2. Second question.. Is anybody else constipated or is just me? I follow this diet exactly as it is laid out, and after a couple weeks into it, I get very constipated. Any suggestions besides eating a pack of blueberry muffins?..

I would like to know the answer too. Anyone here know what is the answer to your question. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I find an decent answer. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably can answer it..

Its hard to imagine that if you eat the proper amount of vegs that one could be backed up. I would call a counselor on this one...

Unfortunately, even drinking plenty of water + plenty of fiber, it can still happen. I had interesting fights w/my father in law last month while he was staying with me recovering from double bypass. He wanted to let nature take it's course until he couldn't keep anything down. Like that helped his recovery. He was getting plenty of fiber from fruits & veggies - trust me..

Anyhoo - go to the drug store and pick up some Mirilax. Take as directed (one capful in about 4 oz water or juice, once per day for up to 7 days). KEEP drinking your water (at least 64 oz a day). Things will start "moving" in a day or 2. This is much gentler than Fleet (for instance)..

I've seen 250 mg of Magnesium as a supplement suggest several times on the "chick" forums. So if you're still having a problem once things get moving again, you can try that as well..

Good luck!..

Fit Probiotic yogurt into your daily plan. Helps somewhat but is not a cure...

Miralax is over the counter (OTC) and is what we use in the hospital. I'm pretty sure 1 capful (17grams) is typically in 8oz of liquid. Half a capful is 4oz. There's no side effects from it; if you end up with too much, you'll just have diarrhea. Once things get moving, you may need to take 1/2 cap every other day or so. You just titrate to effect...
