Question I have... Does anyone know of a "quick Nutrisystem diet" that is SAFE? Thanks in advance for any answer or 2. Another quick question... Are any more of the lunches coming like the sausage and rice. Its really good.. |

Matt, if you're talking the redbeans and rice with sausage, I'm with you. Nearly got discouraged from trying it due to some negative postings on the bb's. Added a little water so it wouldn't be dry, as recommended on a bb, heated it, sprinkled with ff cheddar cheese, added salsa, didn't have ff sour cream, added chopped onion, wrapped in a tortilla and wolfed that sucker down. Yessireee..

What are people putting in their salads for lunch..... ? It is the only meal of the day that is not very satisfying for me!.
I am being very consistent with following the plan and enjoy all the breakfasts, snacks, dinners and desserts. But I am starving after lunch most days.. 310/301/225.. |

Tuna or crab meat or shrimp or grilled chicken strips or whatever floats my boat at the time and I count it as a protein. I also like to add ff cheddar cheese and use salsa as a dressing. Usually have fruit for morning snack and save protein for lunch..

I use Spinach for my greens, grilled chicken breast, sometimes a hard cooked egg or feta cheese, sometimes both...

I was just reading in another thread that the Nutrisystem dietitians recommended eating a protein with the fruit to help with spiking blood sugar, the whole low GI thing. So I think it'd be better to eat a high-protein breakfast entree like the eggs, and save the protein from breakfast instead of from the morning snack...
