Question I have... Has anyone been on the Tony Ferguson Nutrisystem diet? Did you find it easy? Hoping for any response. Another question on my mind: I started this journey July 1 and will hit eight months this Sunday. My life has been completely and radically transformed over those months. I've had the pleasure of getting to watch many on this men's forum achieve their goals and was able to get my butt kicked when needed!.

Here are some victories I've had over the last eight months:.

* I've adopted a lifestyle and wasn't on a "diet!".

* I lost over 90 pounds!.

* I've lost over 35 inches!.

* BP is down from 160/105 to 124/74!.

* Resting heart rate is 60!.

* Pant's size is down from 44's to 34's!.

* Newest clothes are L's (some M's mixed in there as well) down from XXL's. (Another expense of Nutrisystem is a whole new wardrobe!).

* I weigh less now than when I was married 25 years ago!.

* I was on a beach in Grand Cayman two weeks ago wearing MEDIUM swim trunks and was loving the beach and not concerned about someone wanting to harpoon the beached whale!.

* I am in the best shape of my life and have become a gym junkie!.

* My wife continues to tell me I'm hot, only now I think she actually means it!.

...................to name a few!.

There are many new faces here and all I can say is "Work the plan! The plan works!" Don't try to mess it up thinking your way is better and then becoming discouraged or ticked when it doesn't work. Here are some things I've learned in the last eight months:.

* Follow the plan!.

* Drink the water! Yes, that requires some to man up, but so be it!.

* Exercise! Walk, run do something!.

* Take your measurements! The scale doesn't tell the whole story!.

* Educate yourself - Mindset Makeover, Discussion Boards, talk to a counselor, etc. This is about a lifestyle change and requires an education! Ask questions and listen to the answers!.

* Be accountable to someone you can trust and who will kick your butt, not coddle you!.

* Enjoy every victory along the way! Each one is worth noting and celebrating! Find someone who will celebrate with you!.

* Enjoy every compliment and use them to spur you on to your next goal!.

* "Discard" the naysayers! (You know what I mean!) This is about you and not about them and they will hate it when they are still 100 pounds overweight and you've accomplished your goals and they will tell you about it by cutting you down! You'll hear comments like these - "How much more are you going to lose?", "Aren't you about done yet?", "I think you've lost quite enough!", etc..

* Enjoy the journey! It is worth every penny and every ounce of effort you put into it to achieve your goals! Like someone has said, "Nothing tastes as good as thin feels!".

Many of you here have inspired me along the way and my hats off to you as well as my thanks!.

If you're a newbie, hang onto the words of the vets in here and learn from them - you won't be sorry!.
