First of all How do I get my Medifast cookies to look big not flat and squishie? Looking forward for any answer or 2. Another question on my mind: I have gotten a headache for the third day in a row..cause unknown. I will say I haven't gone 100% yet...but honestly....if I've eaten SAD all my lifeyou'd think things would be improving..not getting worse..

And yesI run to my tylenol and chocolate chip cookie remedy to make me feel better..

Anywaymorning...is all raw...I'm fine until after I have my green juice..

Fruit is for brekkie....

And my juice is kale, spinach (today onlydidn't have it yesterday....had a headache both days), celery, cucumber (parselysame as the spinach...I think.

), strawberry, green apple..

Did my head decide it doesn't like kale celery and cucumber all of a sudden?.

These headaches are miserableI wouldn't call them migraines by a long shot, but they are in the usual place at the base of my head on the two "bumps" on either side of the neck vertebrae...where I customarily get all my headaches..

I'm confused as to what brougth them on and why they aren't going away and quite honestly...I just want brownies, chocolate cookiessomething homey...

I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the answer to that question. I'll do some research and get back to you if I bump into an good answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably could help you..

I have.

Personally.

Found that drinking Kombucha helps. Headaches are rare for me, but if I do get one I drink a bottle and within an hour it's gone...

I lived in FL for 15 years prior to moving to N. GA. two years ago. That is where I figured out it was the fronts moving through causing my headaches. And YES at the back of your head right where your neck and scull meet. I never realized your sinuses go there until I went for a massage and the guy commented on my swollen sinuses (he was working on the back of my neck!).

Because of it's relation to sea level and the barometric pressure. Sounds weird I know. It was just a thought..

Whole family was sick last week and I am coming off of that. So maybe just maybe..

Thanks!.

I go for a massage next weekend at the spaso I have another week until relief. But I can work with my shiatsu massager...

How rather unfortunateI think it was detox..

How do I knowWendy's drive through...a single, a french fry..and a never do I buybut to heck with itsoda...dr. pepper specifically. And instantlyit cured the headache..

That tells me it was a withrawal symptom from crap....high fructose corn syrup crap to be specific. Darn Darn Darn Darn Darn!!!!.

Monday I am starting a 30 day challenge ASAP. Why do I wait until after the weekend? I am just a goober who likes to start things evenlyand the weekend is too much of a weird juxtoposition of days for me to start..

Heck...I am reconfiguring our homeschool schedule (life circumstance necessitates a regime) and I couldn't handle shifting it later one half hourhad to be on the whole hour. That's okay thoughchores!.

Just a mild OCD part of me that likes things all nice and even..

Though I will finish what is in my house non-raw wise and keep the SAD part as healthy as possible..

I love marathonsbut sometimes I do really hate them b/c it just conjures up some old habits when you are done...then hard to shake 'em lose even if I had done so in the several weeks prior to it...

Yep... that was my first thought... detox. your body is trying to release and rid itself of toxins - and at the sign of discomfort you are giving your body a 'little bit of the dog that bit ya'.... and the discomfort leaves... withdraaaaawal.....

Drink lots of water... try to get thru those moments without putting more toxins in and eventually your body will beable to clear that out!.

But as everyone else said too watch the weather - it could be pressure in your sinuses!.

Hope youre feeling better soon!..

Although not recommened by some, during my first two weeks I had headaches and I wasn't 100% either. So I took ibprofuen. Then the headaches just stopped. So, in turn, I stopped taking ibprofuen..

That's my story...

I have gone raw for 6 months and then numerous months off and on again now for about 4 years or so. I have healed my body a great deal of numerous serious health issues. I used to come here as ksabe98 but that name does not suit me now and I had to re-sign up for the new web site. I am also starting again and intend now to stay 100% from now on. Anyway I have done my fair share of detoxing and let me tell you. My primary and worst symptom of detox in the beginning is a migraine headache that usually lasts from 2 to 3 days.

For example day one by the time it is 2:00 pm after green smoothies, superfood and some fruit I have a tremendous headache. You have to just get through it and on the other side you feel better. Once I get through one or two of these headaches usually the next detox symptoms are not so severe. I will take the flu like symptoms and cold like symptoms any day over the headache. But whatever my body is throwing out it is bad and goes straight to my head.

Find comfort outside of Medifast food to deal with it. Perhaps a soft radio with Enya playing in the background. A cool room that has the lights down low or off and breath. Know that you are doing something really good for your body and it will soon be over. Also oil pulling sometimes helps me and slicing raw cold potatoes and putting them on the spots that hurt the most.

Good luck hopes this helps you. Also an enema is great to get the poisons out if you are really suffering sometimes it is just not getting out of you fast enough. Make sure your eliminative organs are in top shape. Body brushing, rebounding, bowel cleanse, liver cleanse and kidney cleanse. And celebrate the cleanse it helps to be grateful..
