Good Morning Tough Lovelies!.
Drumroll please. I was 216.6 today (not my official WI day) and can now say that I have lost 75 lbs and 25% of my bodyweight! Woo Hoo!! That's only 65.4 Medifast lbs and 24% of my Medifast bodyweight, but I definitely include my pre-MF weight loss in my total. I just don't track it on my ticker (maybe I should?). Anyway I am on Cloud 9 today!. Dubah - I want to bang in bed all day too! LMAO That sure beats banging on my drum all day. hehehe. Penny - On the plus size, I was thinking you could simply say Plus Sizes available on request, or just list the measurement of things - 7" bracelet, etc. Because some smaller folks like things to be a little bigger on them, etc. But whether you give it a nod or you just list certain items in a plus size category, I definitely think it would be lovely to fly your "big girl" flag - for all those who still want to look stylish!. MT - Thanks for kicking off this lovely day.. Morning Cindy, Zoe, Melissa, and all who come after me! I MISS ANNA!!. Today is the 16th anniversary of the bombing of the Murrah Building here in Oklahoma City. Morning! Blowing by to say a quick hi. Got barfing kids again (or, still, depending on how you look at it!) and trying to get ready for an impending visit from my folks. Need to finish painting the extra bathroom so we can get the toliet, etc. installed before they get here. My mom had a knee replacement and doesn't need to climb the stairs just to get to the bathroom!.
Down 2.5 lbs this past week! Weighed in a day late as we were on the river this weekend, watching DH kayak. After the weekend with little access to drinking water (unless I'd drink the river!), nearly all bars for meals and crappy LGs eating out in the Gorge with the kids, I expected to have a bad week. Did well, though, probably because TOM was ending! I'm happy that I will meet my personal mini-goal of being as close as possible to 10 lbs from goal by the time my parents visit after Easter. I expect/hope for a new decade in the 120s by the end of the week!. My dad hasn't seen me since 180 lbs, so he's in for a shock. Must, must, must get some clothes that fit THIS weekend!!. Haven't kept up this weekend, but I know I missed a birthday (happy belated one, Freya!) and lots of conversation! I'll try to drop in more this week amidst painting and barfing...oh, and NO washing machine! It tanked on Friday and will be $400 to fix.. Oh, well, hopefully it will be back by Thursday.... Good morning everyone! I'm still half asleep waiting at the doctor's office for a recheck appointment. Its dreary and rainy here, which makes it more difficult to get motivated..
But 1 great motivator.....I'm wearing size 6 Abercrombie jeans I haven't fit into in 4 years! I kept them because I love them & bought them the last time I lost weight. They are a tiny bit tight in the waist, no where else, and I can definitely get away with wearing them!. No chopped tofu, I'm too tired to remember who wrote what. Tara, that's some nerve. When I saw the neurosurgeon yesterday, it was literally for less than two minutes. I realize he reviewed my file and my films, but the time he spent with me was over in a flash. And he's probably making $400 from my insurance for it. Sheesh..

Good morning all- it's my birthday. It's been...okay so far. Head's still not well, but trying to cope at work. With the evil med & being in bed so much I lost less than a pound this week, but at least it's DOWN! Looking forward to Friday (last day of evil med).

Hey, everyone! I just got back from my weigh-in 1.6 for the week. I honestly think I go through fluctuations of small-small-big, because that's what the pattern is shaping up to be. I should record the individual weeks instead of just the month. Well, now I know!.
I made a trip to Wal-Mart and spent like 20 minutes trying to pick a sugar-free creamer to try in my coffee instead of Splenda AND milk. I wanted to get the liquid one that was less calories, carbs and sodium, but unfortunately it only came in a HUGE container and would have expired before I could use it all. Alas, such is college life.. Please excuse me from calling you out by individual name, as I (per normal) didn't get much quality sleep last night, and will now be resting... |

I've got degenerative disk disease, mostly causing issues in my cervical spine, and until I got a recliner, I was in daily agony. Now, it keeps me aligned right for reading and watching tv, and, if my back is badly spasming, gives me a good place to sleep that I can actually get out of in the morning without help..
I wasn't happy about getting an old lady chair so young, but now I'm buying a second one for the bedroom!.. |

I can't sleep in an even remotely upright position. I have both a couch and love seat that have 2 recliners each. Wouldn't have helped. Frankly, I just can't sleep well in any bed that's not my own...

I do too. I was diagnosed in 1976 and I've found a way to beat all the doctors' predictions. I've had no surgeries or other invasive procedures but I can still walk and lead an active life. Having lost all this weight has helped tremendously too...

If not, she will be put into the hospital and if needed start the drugs to keep the. Girls. Inside longer.. Still praying she can get past Mother's Day.. What do you do? I was diagnosed 10 years ago, and while I try to move correctly and pay attention to my body, I still have many very painful and difficult days..
Losing just these 18 pounds has made a huge difference in the way I feel though.. I want to put off surgery as long as possible... |

I want to know, too. I didn't know I had such a degree of bone loss until my surgery in 2005 when they told me I had the spine of a 65 year old. They told me to quit smoking, lose weight, and get active. I did all three of those things and it did help. I can only imagine how I'd feel if I hadn't done those three things. And a funny coincidence is that I remember joking with the doctor just before my surgery saying, "I guess my belly dancing days are over, huh?" He said, "Not necessarily!" So is that the secret, MT?..

I've been nervous to say anything, because ya'all know me and I'm worried you'll think I'm talking out my azz, but I'm so excited and nervous about tomorrow night I want to share even if you point and laugh. It's cold and gray here and a perfect day to stay in bed. But I'll be on my way to the YMCA and then to work in a little while.. I listed a ton of rings last night over on Etsy. Lots of them are larger sizes and I was thinking to possibly offer some of my pieces in a "plus size" category. Can I get some feedback on this? I remember when I was very heavy, I couldn't find larger size ankle bracelets, rings, etc. that were pretty and that fit. I haven't specified "plus size" on any of my listings, but I'm considering it.. Vanilla coffee pudding this morning hit the spot and is playing nice with my Medrol. I'm off to start my day!
