Yep, although you might want to make sure and wait for another person here to confirm it as I am on the fence. Better yet, why don't you give a call to the Nutrisystem guys because they can assist you better...

Thanx. You're right, 72 years young. Heck, I like girls and can still remember why..

MG, you sound a lot like me - although at 62 I'm MUCH younger than you.
In any case, I started last year on 1/14/2008 at 302 and this morning I weighed in at 201. So much of the prescriptions and aches and pains I was experiencing - that I thought were the result of aging - were the result of lack of exercise and morbid obesity. Nutrisystem has been a miracle and it seems like it has taken very little time to get here. I'm fitter than I was in my late 20s and am looking forward to the future.. You've made a great decision and found a great vehicle for change! I look forward to welcoming you into a brand new future!.. |

You are off to a good start. I've found, at age 63, that the years go by faster and faster, so your year should go faster than FitTom's and mine. This PLAN does work without the sacrifices of all the other plans. You'll be glad you found it. This year will just get better and better with each new day...
|
|
I didn't know I could wait 30 more years to get on the Plan..
See you guys in 2039!. Congrats on the success!.. |
|
Way to go MG. I'm also 72, nearly 73, and enjoying the program. Ten pounds down in first 2 weeks. Looking forward to reading of your progress..

Thanks, guys, for the positive support. I'm sure I will be calling on you to help me back on the wagon when I stumble..
As Red Green would say on The Red Green show on PBS, "keep your stick on the ice, we are all in this together".. MG.. |

Gawdurn, keep up the good work on your smoking. I was an alcoholic and smoked heavily for 48 years and quit it all cold turkey 12 years ago. I gained a lot of weight when I quit and think now is the time to deal with it. I still miss the smokes but it is nice to be able to walk up stairs without huffing and puffing...

I'll bet that the extra $$$$$$$ in your pocket doesn't hurt either..
Nice job quiting smoking... |

52mgtd,.
Good work... I too am a 70+, started 1 Dec 2008 and I'm seeing some progress. As everyone says "stay with the Plan, drink the water and get a some excerise worked in". 12/01/2008......275 lbs.. 01/29/2009......255 lbs... |

I quit the same day I started Nutrisystem in order to stem the weight gain thing I had experienced in past tries to quit. This time not only did I not gain weight but I lost 96lbs. in the first year. The money I've saved is in my ticker..
Chantix: Better living through Psycho-pharmacology.. (If you want a quit smoking ticker like mine, just click on the one in my Sig).. |
