Got a question, hope someone can answer... Nutrisystem diet for physically inactive guys? Looking forward for any answer. My 2nd question... I've always considered myself as much of a man as the next guy. But I have to admit, when I got my first Teddy Bear that cute little fella with the number "10" on his chest kind of got to me. More than signifying the loss of 10 pounds, it represented the decision I made to take responsibility for my life - a decision that resulted in finally finding the answer to the toughest question I ever had to face, "How do I change my lifestyle?". |

I too love my bears. I would rather have a trophy or a die cast car with the weight on the door and hood like Nascar, but they are what they are and I have to say I am pretty proud of them. The other day I caught myself pointing them out to company. I just got my 50# bear, and I'm only 2lbs away from my 60# bear. I'm really glad that Nutrisystem is having 100+ bears designed..

Ok another newbie question, "what's with the bears?" I understand that they send you one for every milestone you hit on your way to a newer you, but is that a special request or do they just get sent? I only ask this b/c I can see my wife displaying them in a heart beat if I receive one. she's been a big help, even if she's one of those people who can eat horribly and still stay tiny...

Nutrisystem sends you a bear automatically with your auto-delivery for each 10# increment, including a GOAL bear when you hit goal. Right now they have them up to 100, but they are working on higher number bears. These are an actual picture of my bears earned so far. I am proud!.
Btw, if you are suppose to get a bear and it's left off, call them or e-mail CS and they will send it right out, no charge... |

So far, they've left two of my bears out of my autoships, but a quick email has gotten them to me in less than a week. Just received 40# a couple days ago. My stepdaughter's always asking what I'm naming them. I tell her they already got names - read the tag. Guess she doesn't think "Community" is a very good name for a bear...

I would think the little die cast cars would be cheaper to make than the bears would be, and the shipping cost shouldn't be any different as long as they are the small "Hot Wheels" size cars. I would be particularly happy with an orange 20 pound car, and a red 40 pound car!..

I currently have 10 bears. They are currently re-enacting the Rodney King roadside meeting, which became possible once I got my black 90 lb bear. Next week's re-enecatment will be Tiannamen Square provided I can borrow a tank from one of my buddy's children...

They missed my 10lb bear but I got my 20. I called them up and they had it in the mail the next day. I got it yesterday and not I have them displayed on my bookshelf in my office...

I like the bears. Having them visible is a constant reminder that I am succeeding and motivation to add more bears. They owe me a 70 & and 80 already and by the time my next order ships, they'll owe me a 90 as well. Cant' wait to put that 100 lb bear up on the shelf!!..

My last order sheet said "Nutri/Bear 20" and they sent me the 20 pound bear - even though they owed me the 90 and 100. I had to call them to get the right ones sent out (gotta have the complete set, right?). So if you want the right bear, best call...

Me too. Got my BBB yesterday and no bears. Called today and the lady said they would send out my 70,80, & 90# bears. Kinda silly, I know. But seeing them sitting up on the shelf is not only a reminder of how far I've come, but also motivation to put up one more bear...

When I called about my missing bear they told me the probelm is somehow related to the web site. I'm guessing they don't get accurate data out about who has lost how much...

I think the key is that you have logged your initial weight in on the Nutrisystem site and regularly log your current weight in. If your start weight on you Nutrisystem home page reflects your original "405" and the site now shows your current weight, no problem. Did they say they would fix it for you?..

I am getting th bear, but they kind of shrugged off any questions about fixing the web site. My data is accurate on the site. Based on what they were saying, the site does not always generate the notice that they should send the bears with the shipments...

I'm now at the 80+ lbs lost mark. I think the last bear they sent me was at 40lbs, but it was a 10lb bear...

Plus the logistics of display in my sig for it all to fit on one line doesn't allow for additions, unless I take 1 or 2 of the X'd ones off first. Of course I could add Jillian Barbie, cause I would definitely like to hit that, just not in the same way... |

OK somebody 'splain! My Auto-delivery says "Nutribear 20". I know Wizz and some others said they had this problem back a ways. So what was actually delivered?.
I'm due my 80# bear this delivery but I will probably have to call, just like every bear I have earned since the first 2. I admit When I opened that box and my 10# and 20# was in there staring back at me I was hooked from that moment on.. I'm hoping that by the time I hit 110# the new bears will be on line so I won't have to wonder and wait on them. I just got my first bear last week and I hope I get the next TWO in the next order! I had a lot of fun with that bear this week, planting him all over the house for my wife to find, then she would move him and I'd have to find him. LOL Then of course, some good ol' obscene puppet shows with the bear is always good for a few sophomoric laughs! I'm already imagining what I am going to do with two or three of them... MWHA-HA-HA!.

I didn't check my autodelivery to see if the 20 lb bear was listed. But it was in the box. When I had already received my 10 and 20 and was waiting on my 30 and 40. Which came in a separate box this morning. For a while I was thinking I was working in base 20. 10 lb bear, 20 lb bear, 10 + 20 for 30 lbs, two 20s for forty, etc..

Yep, I got a 20# bear in my BBB. I had contacted Nutrisystem through the "Live Help" feature last week when I noticed the 'Nutribear 20" on my Auto-Del. page. She said the mix up happened because I have 2 user names and acct's on the Nutrisystem website. She said she fixed it. Well I just contacted them again because all I got was the 20.
I know, I'm way too vested in the lil' farkers.. Btw, As a deaf person I would like to give NutriSystem a great big thumbs up on providing a way for me and other hearing impaired people to communicate with relative ease. The "Live Chat" feature is fast and the counselors are very friendly and prompt. Thank you!!.. |

My last shipment included a 20 instead of the 60 I was expecting. I was on the phone in about 30 seconds, asking for the correct bear. And it arrived just a couple of days later. I think lots of us get pretty invested in them...

Nope, been buying off craigslist (and e-bay, although e-bay usually not cheap unless you can pickup vs ship) since my second autoshipment. Usually get 5 weeks of food for 1/3 to 1/2 the price at NS. (i.e $100-125) Don't get to choose what I eat but that never worried me. Helps that I have 3 major cities within minutes of our houses to find the stuff; DC, Baltimore and Philly..
Many folks forget to turn off autoship and/or try Nutrisystem for a day or two and immediately quit. This is why I have currently have over 3 months worth of food on hand, plan to stay with Nutrisystem forever at home and found this an economical way to live, follow the plan and get healthy.. Even with buying the bears, I'm way ahead... |

Hey, guys. Being a newbie, would someone please explain the whole bears thing to me. I seem to have picked up that there is a bear for every 10 lbs lost. How does Nutrisystem record that? Do I have to request the bear or is it supposed to be automatic. I ask as I received my second shipment yesterday with no bears and I've lost over 10 lbs. My kids, I'm sure, would love the bears...

I couldn't help but to peek in the men's forum when it said Men and Teddy Bears...I thought that was funny as I never thought of it that way. Any way, you have to log in your weight on the Nutrisystem website in order to recieve the "free" bears. No need to buy them, just have to earn them :-).

Just wondering what the url is for craigslist and also whether it serves all areas of the country or is regional. I will be at my goal in another month or so and it would be nice to get the prices you mentioned for Nutrisystem foods... |

I just had to send an e-mail to request my 40 and my 50..
40 wasn't in my shippment and I passed 50 while it was in transit anyway!. They sent a quick response and said they will ship them out.. It really is sort of a quirky thing...but, it's one more little way to remind yourself of what you've accomplished. I have a line up of the first three on my desk at home under the computer monitor...I see them each time I log my food, weight and exercise in.. As soon as those two arrive I'll have five to show off....(Not as impressive as the line up of bears that Damon has, but I'm trying!).. |

I am in my second month with a 20 plus loss so far. Due my IPF, I am unable to walk more than a few yards at a time, so I am sure my loss will be slower than most. Ben in Texas. (Jerry Jones is building a multi-million $$ stadium for the Dallas Cowboys. Instead of having a big hole in the roof for God to watch "His" team, the new one has a retractible roof. I guess they can shut the roof so God won't have to watch His team lose.).. |

I have a bear question. I had lost 40 at my last shipment and up to now have only received my 20 pound bear. I log my weight loss weekly on the website. When I called the women said she could only send one maybe two bears. She is going to send my 30. I am hoping this months shipment has my 50. I am going to see what I get and then try to email Cust. Service and see what happens... |

I just got my 100 pound bear today (yep I called).
It was a bit of a celebration - a friend and my wife really congratulated me. This one is Dedication Bear - it says:. Dedication Bear is the rarest of bears. After losing 100 lbs. Dedication knows you have the strength to do just about anything.. Now THAT's a great bear to have in my collection.. |
