Got a quick question: Nutrisystem diet Plan and Treadmill workout plan? Thanks in advance for any answer. Another question... When do you know you've had too much Splenda? As the months have passed on Nutrisystem I'm finding that I am putting Splenda on more and more foods. That can't be good, right?. |

I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the right answer. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I discover an good answer. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably know..

Now balance that with eating real sugar and getting fat and having those health related illnesses..
Of course all of this could really be bullcrap anyway. Remember when they said Peanut Butter gave rats cancer... |

Oh yeah, the yogurt that I buy from Kroger is sweetned with splenda also...

Putting sweetener in coffee, tea and 1 or 2 more items may not be so bad (I use Splenda in my coffee). However, if you find yourself putting it on 'more and more things', that may be an indication that some nutrient is missing from your diet. You may want to speak to a nutritionist...

Maybe, in part. But if you're craving sweets, there may be something other than a sugar rush that you may be missing. I never had much of a sweet tooth, with me getting fat on fast foods vs. baked goods. Your situation may be different...

Sorry to bust into the men's room... but I recently read in one of my health magazines that if you crave sugar (or carbs) you should try to take a daily multivitamin. how that may help...

I think the obvious reason for a sugar craving is the need for more fruit. Where else is there a major source of sweetness in nature. The body knows what it needs and is trying to get it - fruit!..

Possibly, but it may have nothing to do with the actual sugar. one of the examples the magazine gave was, say you are craving chocolate. you think you are craving the sugar, but your body may be trying to get you to eat chocolate for the magnesium found in the cocoa...., and etc. for different things you may reach for that are sugar or carb...
