My question is Should I use Nutrisystem or NutriSystem? Thanks for any answer. Another quick question... I'm down nearly 30 pounds, and a couple of days ago something unexpected happened.. |

That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the right answer. I'll do some research and get back to you if I got an useful answer. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably could give you help..

Happened to me about a week ago, I was putting my briefcase in the backseat of my car and I pulled my hand along the back of the seat and the ring popped right off and landed on the floor by the case...that's something that had never happened before...

Yes. With weightloss I noticed my ring size is smaller, wrist size is smaller so my watch is looser now and I'll have to adjust the band. My feet got smaller so I can wear a size smaller shoe..
Seems my body likes to keep the fat concentrated around the middle... |
|
Had to get both my rings re-sized (wedding and Shriners) and had to resize my watch band...
|
|
I, too, have experienced the thinning of the extremeties. I can now wear my high school class ring...

Off topic but just curious. Were you a long time smoker? I saw a study on CNN a few years back that suggested Smokers had higher concentrations of fat in their mid sections than nonsmokers. Of course that could have to do with limited physical activity from lowered lung capacity more than anything else...

I've been wearing my wedding ring around my neck on a chain with my cross for the past 1.5 years. I'm too cheap to get the ring resized and my wife doesn't mind as long as I'm wearing it somewhere...

I'm hoping to lose some fat around my face. For some reason I've packed fat around my face my entire life. Even when I graduated high school at 158 pounds I had a chubby looking face. I've never really known what that was all about and I don't know if there's anything I can do about it..
My wedding ring was a bit loose already...I think I got a half-size too big. I'm only down 17.6 pounds so far but I have noticed my ring sliding up to my middle knuckle and my watch spins all the way around my wrist already..... |
|
I had to have a link removed from my watch band and my wedding ring resized from a 13 to a 10.5.......
|

Brandon, if you want a before and almost after (5 pounds to goal) face shot, take a look at my page. Your face will change shape. My DW says my head got Beetlejuiced......

LOL! Oh man, I guess I'm gonna have to buy a smaller hat now!..
|
|
My wedding band had to be resized from a 11 3/4 down to a 10. I also had three links taken out of my watch. 'Just another expense that was so worth it!..

Ring seems to be the same, but the wrist watch is about ready to slide all the way around my wrist...

I'm noticing my wrist watch getting a bit loose too, so I'm working on building up some of the muscle tissue there..
What I starting doing is to take a 10 or 15 lb. weight and do "wrist curls". I hold the weight and while sitting I place my arm along the top of my thigh, with the wrist right at my knee and the weight hanging over. Then I do sets of both forward (palm up) curls and backward (palm down) curls, keeping my forearm firmly in place on my leg.. You gotta watch it while doing the backwards curls; if your grip gets tired, you can drop the weight right on your foot!. I've been doing these about a week now, and while I haven't seen any muscle growth yet, I do feel my forearm firming up and my grip strength improving. The great thing about this exercise is that it's easy to do and you won't even break a sweat!.. |

In Jan my wedding ring was a 15. Its now a 13.5 and needs to be taken down again. My watch band has had 2 links removed and I am ready for a third. I think for my birthday in July I am getting rid of the "fat man" watch I bought at casual male and will buy a "normal" sized watch...
