I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the answer. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I find an useful answer. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably could answer your Nutrisystem question..

I have indeed lost faith in NutriSystem and haven't been using it since the spring. I won't go into details here because I don't want to ruffle feathers..

I would however, like to get rid of my bears. If I can sell them to someone on here then that would be great, if not, I'll sell them somewhere else. I just figured I'd give people on here first crack at them...

I hate that because your wisdom always inspired me and your support (in a non-gay way) is partially responsible for me making it thus far...

I appreciate that Damon_, I really do. I feel like "back in the day" we made a pretty darn good team. It was just time to move on to another healthy lifestyle plan that actually.

Maybe the others on this board don't want to hear it, but many of us might be struggling with same problem/issue..

Well, okay, though I fully expect this post to get modded all to heck by the Nutrisystem gestapo..

First let me say that NutriSystem really helped me to understand a lot about weight loss, and the program works for most folks. If it's helping you then you should stick with it until you reach your goals. None of the NutriSystem staff were ever rude to me or inappropriate in any way. However, it just didn't work for me..

I began in January and things went swimmingly for about 3 months and I lost around 40 pounds of the 70 that I needed to lose. I'm not sure what happened at the beginning of April, but everything just stopped working. I was sticking to the plan by the book...not one single little cheat. So I kept sticking with it, and sticking with it, and box after box came but no weight came off..

So, I called a NutriSystem counselor and they had me add a little here, take away a little there, and this went on and on from March until about July. I went through counselor after counselor and no one could figure out why I wasn't losing. So I quit. It's too danged expensive to have it not work..

I went back to Low Carb and things seem to be moving again..

So, I quit NutriSystem because really, honestly, it just didn't work for me past a certain level, and the counselors couldn't figure out the problem. I really stuck with it hard core for almost 4 months after I stalled, and called a counselor almost once a week to figure this crap out to no avail. I mean, 6 weeks is normal for a stall, but 4 months? That's not a stall, that's something's not right..

So anyway, if Nutrisystem is working for you, then great, keep at it. For me though, it just didn't work...

Haggis, I think that a lot of different plans can work. If you've lost your weight on another plan, kudos to you. I can't imagine selling my 10,20,30,40,50,60,70 or 80 lb bears. I couldn't imagine buying them either. You have to earn them, otherwise, what's the point? The back of the closet is probably as good a place as any! Good luck...

Well anyway, if anyone wants them just let me know...

That was a very calm and thoughtful explanation, I do not believe anyone at Nutrisystem will modify your post. I am glad to see you have found another plan that works for you. Do come back from time to time to say hello and let us know how you are doing..

Why pay the money if you aren't seeing the results..

At some point, most of us will stop using Nutrisystem food. Hopefully, we will have learned enough to be successful with our own plan or moving to a different type of lifestyle..

Yeah, I was on an 8 week long boot camp kind of deal, where I went EVERY morning at 6am and busted it hard before work. The eating plan was almost identical to Nutrisystem in structure. I lost some fat, but my weight went up because I packed on some muscle. It was fine, but I could NEVER sustain that lifestyle. It was HARDCORE to the max...

So why would anyone "buy" the bears? Unless you wanted to imply you had lost that much without losing it? Inquiring minds want to know..

Also, I'm a junior member so I don't know much. How do you get the weight loss graphs and other graphics into your messages........

Geez, I don't want them anymore and I just want to see if I can get rid of them without just throwing them away. Back when I was active on Nutrisystem there were sometimes people who didn't get a bear when they were supposed to and were having a hard time getting one from NS. There are always collectors who want extras, etc, etc, etc. I don't want 'em and will eventually just throw them away, but if I could find someone who wanted them, what's the harm?..

I like that you told us you were leaving rather than just disappearing. Whether you are on the program or not, I hope you check back and post from time to time...

Hey, just ask'n, remember I'm new here. I just got my second shipment and it had a little red bear in it with a 10 on it and it took me awhile to figure out why I got it............

I see from reading the stuff that was recommended, that tickers are for wusses, So it's at least refreshing that SOME of you have them. Thanks for the "rules and expectations" tho...

Haggis, Although I am from Canada, I order from the US site and so I recieve the bears. However, there are apparently many Canadians that order from the Canadian site, that don't get the bears and would like them. You might want to check out the general threads and see if anyone bites...
