Got a quick question: What is the fastest Nutrisystem diet you have used? Looking forward for any answer. Another question on my mind: Folks,.

I can't believe what I just went through with Nutrisystem customer support. I initially signed up after watching the "Brother's" ad campaign on TV. I went on-line to order the program. My second month will be sent out shortly, and I never received any free meals..

I call Cust Support, the women on the phone told me that I was entitled to one free week and that it was sent with my first month's food, and that I should have received 35 days worth of food. I recounted my food and sure enough, I only had 28 days. She kept trying to explain to me that it was sent out. In an additional box within my box. I told that I only had 28 days. This conversation went on and on for about 15 minutes, I asked to speak with her supervisor..

We had the same conversation. I also mentioned that I never received an original copy of the make over DVD. She said that it was sent out. This went on for about 10 minutes..

Finally, she put me on hold. Five minutes later she acknowledged that I would receive the additional food over the next four monthly shipments, and I would received an "additional" DVD. I hope that I won't get charged for this..

Folks, the program seems to be working for me. But I'm really perturbed about this 30 minute call with people who are completely clueless..

I hope that I won't have further problems with NS...

Good question... I dunno what is the answer. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I got an decent answer. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably could help you..

That sucks Nudog. I've been lucky when dealing with Customer Service, they were always polite and helpful with me. But then the only thing I was ever missing from my boxes were the bears..

I do always count the food when I open the box though. Better to let them know about mistakes right away. Also, keep your packing lists until your sure you have everything...

I received my first order with the extra week, but there was no orientation packet or dvd. I called Nutrisystem customer support and after explaining to two people, got an email then about a week later got a separate package with the materials...I wrote it off as the "new year" everyone jumping on the weight loss band wagon effect...

I agree, the new year's rush must have overwhelmed them. I can understand that, but the poor phone support was killing me! I can't believe that I had to argue with them to send me my initial DVD!.

They didn't even realize that there was a "Brothers" TV ad campaign that offered 4 weeks of food! One woman actually went on the web to look for it and said that she didn't see it. I told her that it was on TV five weeks ago, and probably no long an active ad. Neither her nor her supervisor where aware of the ad..

It speaks volumes about the lack of training at NS. In any case, I've been losing weight and that's all that matters...

I had a big go round with CS about Buddybucks, mainly people not getting their BB e-mail/code. The lady on the phone told me they have to investigate thoroughly. While I was explaining that my friend had just went ahead and ordered (he was tired of waiting on his code I sent him), The lady on the phone came off with an "uh huh". Her inflection clearly insinuated that I was lying. Boy I tell you, my blood started boiling..

So, we had a back and forth and she informed me she was just trying to keep her job, like I care. I owned a very successful cafe for 15 years and the one thing you don't discuss with customers is employment politics or your displeasure with management..

Long story short (too late), I finally got BB applied not just to my auto-delivery but also my friend's. Out of probably 30 calls to Nutrisystem over the last year, that was the only one that caused me to have to take a xanax when I hung up..

Also, keep in mind that CS and Counseling are very different entities. I just couldn't say enough nice things about the counselors, they have always been extremely pleasant and helpful..

Needless to say, I stopped doing the BB thing, $30 savings is not worth my mental health. I hate being called a liar. If anything, I'm too damn honest...

We put in three orders... my wife, daughter and I all started at the same time... and were fine with the food order in all three. That said two of the deliveries were missing the "Welcome" package Result's Kit and CD but they got them to us in a couple of day. Really no probs so far..

@ DRunebrand... what do you mean the "bears"?..

If you log your weight on the Nutrisystem webpage, Nutrisystem will send little bears, in 10 lb increments, commemorating your loss. They're cute. They come in your box of food...

Signed my daughter up...she received all her lunch and dinners, missing 3 breakfasts and 13 desserts. Also no welcome kit and no DVD's etc. Not even a packing slip ! I called Customer Service and they were very helpful, said she would have everything within 4 to 10 days. We'll see what happens..

My first order back was missing the free week and the DVD's welcome kit etc. Ca;lled them and they sent the extra week and were going to include hte literature and DVD in my second order. Again, we'll see..

I never had any of these problems the first time I went through this ! However, even with the problems, CS has always been very helpful resolving any issues...

New twist...Autodelivery was scheduled to ship on the 25th. I had 40 bucks worth of coupons on the order. On the 28th, I get an email from Nutrisystem saying to call then because there was a problem with my credit card. On the 26th, I had received a message from the bank because they had seen unusual activity on my CC and had frozen the card so I just figured they tried to charge to it during the time the bank had froze my acct. I told them to go ahead and resubmit the order and it should be fine. Well, they did and it went through fine but they didn't reduce it the 40 dollars this time.

When I called they said there was nothing they could do except put the coupons back on my account to use next time. I am within 13 lbs of goal...I don't even know if there is a next time ! I don't understand why they couldn't credit my CC the 40 bucks, after all it was their mistake ! I just sent a note to customer service, let's see how they handle it. I even offered that they put the coupons on my daughter's account and they said they couldn't do that. So, unless somebody can resolve this, I am basically screwed out of 40 bucks through no fault of my own...

Cancel you daughters account and let her continue with yours. Then she gets the coupons. Or let her delay her next order, you order her what she wants, pays you and then close your account..

Hope all comes out well but fail to see how it is Nutrisystem fault that the bank froze your CC. Had a similar occurence when bank denied charge due to an artificial transaction ceiling they had established to possibly catch fraud and I exceeded it. If making a large purchase, it is wise to chk CC issuing bank to be certain there is no such check point and, perhaps, have it raised..

I don't blame them for the frozen acct, I blame them for not resubmitting the exact order with coupons that I had in there. I don't know what triggered them, I did not have any large charges going on...

Nutrisystem has a great program but the phone support sucks. Don't let it throw you off the program. One "counsellor" I spoke to, the first time I was on NS, told me that I wasn't eating enough calories. Taking her advise I gained three pounds. Use your common sense, stay on the program and you will be fine. Leave the phone support for the ladies...

Just had a similar experience. My CC expired and I had updated online with the new info. Well I auto order didn't go through. So today I called them and they re-did the order. Sure enough when I checked online to make some last minute menu changes. No discounts.

Guess it's because the order doesn't get processed til 10 pm their time...
