I would like to know the answer too. Anyone here know what is the answer. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I find an decent answer. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably can answer it..

The good thing about Nutrisystem (excluding the new frozen deliverables) is it doesn't much matter where you keep it. I just leave mine in the box mostly. The new box is great, the upper tray lifts out quite nicely. Much better than the old jumble they used to ship!.

One thing you will have to do, if I'm reading your statements right, is get that "I promised my wife" thing under control. Promise yourself. No matter WHAT your wife, or friends, or parents, or children beg you, ask you, plead with you to do which takes you off your Nutrisystem food plan, just say no. If necessary, explain, but don't back down. Say NO..

They have a choice. You dead from an infarction at 40 (or whatever age it happens at from being obesse) or you alive and them not getting everything they want...

You are so right and my wife is totally on board. For the first few months I am going to be strict so we will not be going out much so I wanted to go to a nice restaurant with her prior to starting...

I keep mine in a couple of plastic storage tubs in the corner of the kitchen. And the "snickers" and "milky way" bars go in the freezer because they are AWESOME frozen...

I made room by using my first empty BBB to hold all the crappy food I had in my cabinets. Throw out everything that is NOT approved. Start with all the "white" foods like Flour, Sugar, Rice, Potatoes and anything made with those items. Add in all the can goods that are high in Sodium. Take all that stuff to your local Faith-based food bank for the needy. Problem solved...

As far as how to organize it, Nutrisystem is a dream come true for me. I always made excuses "I don't have time to fix breakfast or lunch" and ate out. I keep all my stuff seperated. Breakfast all in one cabinet, lunches in another, dinners stacked in another and snacks I leave in the tray..

When I am running behind in the morning I do the pack run through, grab a breakfast lunch and snack, don't even see wat they are, two pieces of fruit, throw in the bag zip it up and I am off. Takes me 0 thinking and about thirty seconds to be packed for the work day. I get milk, and a salad at work..

They help you with the color coding, but seperating it all makes it as efficient as possible..

No excuse!..

Truer words have never been spoken in here.!!!!!.

I have found that this situation comes up quite a bit, especially in the beginning. However, saying NO gets easier as the pounds start to drop off and after a while it all becomes second nature...

I bought some covered plastic tubs and sorted deserts and breakfasts into them. Then, cleared a shelf for lunches and for dinners. Overflow dinners (boxes are bigger) stay in the internal boxes they came in until they rotate onto the shelf..

I cleared a bin in the fridge for yogurt and other add in foods, and a bin for salads and fruit. I make more frequesnt trips to buy fresh..

I can grab a full meal and have it in a bag to take to work in just a couple of minutes..

I also found one of the big trays is a great organizer for the plastic containers I cut salads, fruits and dressings into. The whole tray slides into a shelf I have and keeps all the stuff in one place..

As you work with things you'll develop new patterns and habits. It seems like at lot of stuff at first to store and think about, but it's really just doing different things that after a short time you get used to...

I'm looking forward to having some of my food already prepared. I hated fixing sandwiches to take to work and always ended up eating out instead. I'm eating out twice a day during the week. No wonder I'm a blob..

It's so much easier to eat when the food is already made...

BigJT is right, it is all about developing better habits and we are from the school of whatever works for you. So try a system, modify it once or twice till it works for you, then make it a habit for the rest of your life. JT..

I keep all the "dessert" stuff in a box on the pantry floor. I use about 3ft of shelf space for the other stuff. The new month stays in it's box until the previous month is gone..

Who'm I kiddin'. Not when it's "gone" completely, but when the only stuff left is what I'm no longer in the mood to eat..

The only food I keep in the fridge are those foil-ish pouches (envelopes?) of chicken salad. Those are good fridge-cold on melba toast pieces..

I hear ya man. That right there is probably the #1 or #2 reason why I think the plan's working for me. And I keep a week's worth of lunches and snacks in a drawer at work. Bonus, I can get more work done now that I'm not taking a half hour every day to drive to the [.

Enter crappy ass drive thru joint here.

It was daunting when we got our first 2 BBB's. I actually sprained my back hauling them up from the back porch were UPS left 'em. Set back my exercise program for the first couple weeks..

Like Damon mentioned, we cleaned out ALL our food from the pantry. Having both my wife and I (empty nesters now) On Program allowed us to totally strip the house of old stuff and make room. No sense saving stuff we knew we could not eat for at least 9 months. We each have our own shelves and have it organized Bfast, lunch, dinner, snacks in open plastic tubs in the cupboards. Takes just moments to pack for work, like has been mentioned. For me, the convenience is a big part of what makes Nutrisystem a big win..

Hang around here with a bunch of losers and Have fun! Let us know how it's going..

Gordon..
