First question I got is Which one should I do, Weight Watchers or Nutrisystem? Hoping for any response. Second question of mine... Is it normal?. |

That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the right answer. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I find an decent answer. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably could answer your Nutrisystem question..

Daddy, if you want to see what this program can really do, live the program 100% for 2 weeks....You can do anything for 14 days....no cheating, no soda, log everyfood on the Nutrisystem website...and see what happens.....

It's easy for "small" variations from plan to add up.. Gordon.. |

Small variations make ALL the difference. What you're doing now is maintenance. Remember this for your lifestyle. Better you should just maintain where you are than expect to go back to your old habits when the weight is gone.. You can do this - but if you want to lose - YOU HAVE TO STICK TO THE PLAN!.. |

I am thinking that the advice from these proven "losers" will help in getting you on track. Try it their way and witness the results... |
I suggest you just keep doing what you have been doing. After all, what's more important, following the program and losing fat or doing things your own way? Screw results...

Why would you pay good money and not follow the plan? It takes quite a few calories per day to support your body weight. If you follow the plan, you are going to have a calorie deficit without much effort... |
Nyctfl: Don't you think your advice rings a little hollow, what with those results you're showing??? lol.
But, that aside, you're right. Learn why what is working is working and exploit that to your best advantage... |

As another newbie who just hit his first month on the plan, I gotta believe that what these guys are telling you is true. My weight has been dropping like a rock - in fact - it's really been too fast to be healthy. I purposely started adding an extra carb just to slow it down a little, and it seems to have stabilized this week. One thing I have been doing, however, is drinking the water religiously, so if you haven't been doing that, it very well could be the holdup..
I have traditionally not been a big believer in diets, but I have to admit, these guys have me sold... |
I don't really look at Nutrisystem as a "diet". Its just a meal plan to me. A much better one than offered at Micky D...
If you only lost 3 pounds in 1 month.....it's more than a few things off plan..
Get rid of the Diet Rite soda and drink water instead... |
I seriously doubt that there have been many days where I broke 1700 calories..
I don't get why Nutrisystem tells me that Diet Rite soda is ok to drink. Wth. Another guy I know (that I referred) has dropped 50 pounds in two months. He even started a while after I did.. How does Diet Rite soda cause you to maintain weight when there is nothing in it? There is no caffeine, no calories, no sugar, no other carbs, and no sodium... |
Sounds to me like you are replacing your water intake with Diet Rite.......and I doubt they told you that was OK to do...
You have to commit, your first month you really shouldn't be taking too much liberties with the program...
I would at the very least double that and give it a solid 60 days straight on the program...no deviations..
If you cant do that...then stop wasting your money on NS... |
I think you are fooling yourself. I took in a fair amount of diet pop instead of water and lost 80 pounds. Read (or reread) the Mindset Makeover and follow the plan...
