First off, Will the Medifast Diet work for me after doing lots of fad diets? Hoping for any comment. Second question of mine... So, my Medifast starting weight was 349, though I topped out two weeks before that at 360. Started Medifast on 8/2/10, and I'm currently down to a much-improved 237!.

Had my goal weight set at 225, which I think will need revision. Downward, that is to say. I look at the fat that I still have and think there's another 40 pounds to go, maybe. Won't know until it's gone, I guess!.

So yesterday I got a call from my doctor. She was updating me on my blood work. Last time was before I started Medifast, and I had awful cholesterol, and dangerously abnormal liver function due to a fatty liver. This time...this time...PERFECT blood work. Not a single flag. Liver, cholesterol, all well within perfect, healthy parameters.

In her own words, the test results were "UNBELIEVABLE!!" Her emphasis, there, not mine.

Needless to say, she's quite happy with the results that Medifast has enabled me to achieve. And so am I! Thanks Medifast!..
